Welcome to Spaced Repetition, a productivity app designed to help you organize, track, and improve your study routine using spaced repetition.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Spaced Repetition app ("the App") and your relationship with Alessandro Pace ("we", "our", or "us"), the sole creator and developer of the App.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, and/or using Spaced Repetition, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Spaced Repetition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must stop using the App immediately.

2. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms.

Your continued use of the App after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates.

3. Privacy and Data Ownership

Spaced Repetition uses Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit to store and sync your study data across your devices.

Your data, such as study logs, session times, subjects, topics, review schedules, notes, and other study-related information, is stored locally on your device and, when iCloud is enabled, in your private iCloud account.

You retain ownership and control of the data you create and store within the App.

Data Collection

We do not directly collect or store your personal study content on our own servers.

Your study data is stored locally on your device and/or in your private iCloud account through Apple CloudKit.

Data Control

You have control over your study data. You may delete your data at any time by removing it from the App or from your iCloud storage.

You may also disable iCloud syncing for the App through your iOS settings.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not share your personal study content, such as subject names, topic names, notes, or session details, with third-party services.

The App uses limited third-party services for analytics and subscription management, as described in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy.

4. Anonymous Analytics

We may use Mixpanel, a third-party analytics service, to understand how users interact with the App and to improve the product.

Mixpanel is used only to collect anonymous in-app interaction data, such as app opens, onboarding progress, feature usage, button interactions, study session logging, and general navigation behavior.

We do not use Mixpanel to collect your personal study content. This means we do not send your subject names, topic names, notes, study materials, or personal identifiers to Mixpanel.

We do not use Mixpanel to collect your name, email address, precise location, IP address, country, or other personally identifying information.

Analytics data is used only to improve the App, identify confusing flows, understand feature usage, and make better product decisions.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

The App may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details, billing address, or other payment information.

We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage in-app purchases, subscriptions, purchase history, subscription status, and access to premium features.

RevenueCat may process anonymous purchase-related information necessary to validate purchases and manage subscription access.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

Apple iCloud and CloudKit

Used to store and sync your study data across your devices through your private iCloud account.

RevenueCat

Used to manage in-app purchases, subscriptions, purchase history, and premium feature access.

Mixpanel

Used to collect anonymous in-app interaction analytics so we can improve the App.

These services are used only for the purposes described above and in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Spaced Repetition App, including but not limited to its design, functionality, code, branding, and content, is the intellectual property of Alessandro Pace.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works based on the App without express written permission.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App or attempt to interfere with its normal operation.

You may not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App, its services, or any connected systems.

9. Liability Disclaimer

Spaced Repetition is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, be error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alessandro Pace shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at our discretion, without notice, if we believe these Terms have been violated or if continued use may cause harm to the App, other users, or third-party services.
